Occupants attacked Beryslav district of Kherson region: there are dead

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Facebook .

"According to the investigation, on 6 July 2024, at 04:00, the Russian army fired artillery at one of the settlements of the Beryslav district of the Kherson region. A private house was hit. Under its rubble, rescuers found the bodies of a man and a woman," the statement said.

Under the procedural supervision of the Beryslav District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

Earlier, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that one person was killed and five were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of hostile shelling over the past 24 hours.

He also clarified that over the past day, Sadove, Antonivka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Mykilske, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Kreschenivka, Lvov, Tyahyntsi, Krasne, Vysoke, Charivne, Mykolaivka, Tomaryne and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes. The enemy also launched a missile attack on Beryslav district.

Russian troops hit residential areas of the region’s settlements, damaging 8 private houses. A critical infrastructure facility and a gas pipeline were hit; an outbuilding, a warehouse, garages, private cars and an ambulance were damaged.
