Who is behind the "Dark Knight"? The media have named those responsible
Although Svitlana Kryukova, deputy editor-in-chief of the pro-Russian media outlet Strana.ua, denies any involvement in the administration of the Dark Knight Telegram channel, the Antonina project of Detector Media claims otherwise.
The Dark Knight channel, the publication recalls, resumed its work on June 18 after six months of silence. The last post before the break is dated December 1, 2023.
"The author of The Dark Knight at the time was MP Oleksandr Dubinskyi. And the termination of the telegram channel’s ’broadcasting’ at that time was probably due to the fact that on 14 November 2023, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv sent Dubinskyi, who was suspected of treason, to a pre-trial detention centre," the media outlet writes.
After the channel resumed operations, almost all posts on the channel are dedicated to Roman Kravets, who was on the election list of the Servant of the People party in 2019 but did not make it to parliament. According to Hromadske, Kravets is the administrator of Joker.
"The content of the renewed ’Dark Knight’ is a continuous stream of insults and threats against Kravets, as well as demands to ’return the channel to its owners’ and announcements of further journalistic investigations into him," Detector Media writes.
"Joker" was allegedly created in 2019 by the head of the Ukrop party, Hennadiy Korban, and Svitlana Kryukova. Roman Kravets, according to Detector Media, was allegedly "hired as an administrator and assistant", and later he "removed them (Kryukova and Korban) from the possibility of influencing the content - some of our sources used the word ’raiding’ when describing this story. This is how Kravets became the sole owner of Joker.
"If we believe hromadske’s sources, we can assume that Korban and Kryukova may be behind the information attack on Kravets, and therefore behind the Dark Knight," DM writes.
The restoration of deleted posts helped to get on the trail of Kryukova in The Dark Knight. Some of them had Kryukova’s avatars. For example, one of the posts contained a screenshot of an Instagram post with Kryukova’s avatar.
Kryukova uses the same avatar on her own tg channel “Hook”:
"Most likely, Svitlana Kryukova used her phone to take screenshots of Instagram posts by the so-called ’Roman Kravets’ girlfriend Olha Osmolovska, which were then used as illustrations for publications on the Dark Knight website. If a person has more than one account, the avatar of the one from which they log in to Instagram is displayed on the screen."
Apparently, without noticing this, Kryukova posted an incriminating post on Dark Knight, and then, having noticed the error, deleted it.
