Ukraine is ready to convey its proposals to Russia with the help of third countries, however, in order to really become a mediator in this war, countries that want to end this war should be serious about this work.
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak in a telethon.
According to the OP adviser, in order to become a mediator, countries must “behave a little differently.”
"Any country that is serious about carrying out certain work will not come out publicly and say rather banal things. When they say ’we are for an immediate ceasefire’, this means that the country is not ready for a mediation mission. Because there are big ’wars’ This is a completely different kind of work,” the adviser explained.
At the same time, Podolyak emphasized that Ukraine is ready to transmit its proposals through third Russian countries, as was the case with the “grain agreement.”
Let us note that this statement was made against the backdrop of working trips by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, first to Ukraine, and a few days later to Moscow.
