Enemy losses: Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed another 1,220 invaders and 25 artillery systems
Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine during the day from July 8 to July 9 amounted to 1,220 occupiers. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost about 553,410 soldiers. In addition, during the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 armored combat vehicles and 49 artillery systems.
The enemy’s total combat losses from 02/24/22 to 07/09/24 were approximately:
- personnel - 553,410 (+1220) people liquidated;
- tanks – 8178 (+7) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 15,704 (+19) units;
- artillery systems - 15,015 (+49) units;
- MLRS – 1115 units;
- air defence systems - 880 units;
- aircraft - 361 units;
- helicopters – 326 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAV – 11,922 (+29) units;
- cruise missiles – 2389 (+36) units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 20,212 (+62) units;
- special equipment – 2516 (+13) units.
