Police officer sets fire to two transformers in Cherkasy region

“The incident happened tonight. Matsypur police officer, with the rank of private, set fire to two transformers, one in the village of Kocherzhyntsi, the second in the village of Makymivka. These transformers supplied the indicated settlements with electricity. The policeman was detained a few hours after the crime was committed. Now he has been handed over to SSU officers,” the source said.
He also added that the policeman faces up to 10 years in prison. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is also being decided.
