She had a penetrating gunshot injury to the brain. The killer who attempted to kill Iryna Farion on July 19 used a Makarov pistol.

“The murder weapon has not yet been found, but one cartridge case from a Makarov pistol was seized at the scene of the crime. The search for the criminal continues,” the source added.
Our source also said that Irina Farion had a perforating head wound. She remained unconscious until the moment of death.
“Iryna Farion was diagnosed with a multi-piece, penetrating gunshot lesion of the brain. She never regained consciousness,” the interlocutor noted.
