Former people’s deputy, linguist and teacher Iryna Farion was killed in Lviv, and it has already become known that the investigation of the crime is complicated by the lack of electricity at that moment, since not all video surveillance cameras were working.
This information was shared by deputy of the Lviv City Council Ihor Zinkevych.
He added that he and the ex-people’s deputy were neighbors - they lived across the house, often met on the street, and talked. According to him, law enforcement officers and ambulances arrived at the crime scene as quickly as possible.
“When the shot happened, when the murder happened, we can now say that there was no light in the microdistrict. We really, with the heads of condominiums... tried to work out who had cameras with batteries. We actually already have some information collected from the heads of condominiums on video surveillance, which is transmitted to law enforcement agencies, unfortunately, not as we would like...” he shared.
