Ukraine received the first silver at the Olympics in Paris

Ukrainian shooter Serhiy Kulish became the silver medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games in rifle shooting from three positions at a distance of 50 meters.

NOC reports this.

Kulish received 461.3 points. The first place in this discipline was taken by the athlete from China Liu Yukun, the third place was taken by the representative of India Swapnil Kusale.

For the 31-year-old shooter, this is the second Olympic medal in his career. At the 2016 Olympic Games, he became a silver medalist in the 10-meter air rifle.

As of now, Ukraine ranks 33rd in the overall medal standings.
