
On the afternoon of August 4, reports appeared online about a shooting in Kyiv, as a result of which a man received a gunshot wound. These reports also claim that law enforcement has introduced an interception plan.
The police denied the fact of the shooting in Rusanivka, which was reported on Telegram: They say there was a fight without the use of weapons. The interception plan was not announced.
During the day, messages began to spread online about an alleged shooting with a victim in the capital’s Rusanivka.
“Shooting in Kyiv, on Rusanivka! A man was injured, a bullet hit him in the leg. An interception plan has been introduced,” wrote one of the public pages.
Photos from the scene of the “shooting” have been added to the message.


Sources in law enforcement agencies denied the fact of shooting in Rusanivka. According to preliminary information, there was a fight without shooting.
“No interception plan, which is being written about on Telegram, was announced either,” the source adds.
