In the temporarily occupied Mariupol on August 23 at 13:07, the landings were recorded. It is preliminary known that the air defense system of the occupiers was hit.
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council and Mariupol Mayor’s Advisor Petro Andryushchenko on their social networks. City residents mentioned the sounds of explosions and smoke on Telegram channels.
At the same time, the occupiers claimed that the missiles were allegedly flying towards Crimea.
As Andryushchenko noted, at least 7 explosions were heard in the city. Occupation publics immediately began writing that the sounds of explosions were the consequences of the work of Russian air defence.
"Preliminary, the damage to air defence systems occurred in the triangle of Mariupol (Livoberezhnyi/Kalmiuskyi) - Nikolske - Mangush. More details to follow. The Russians will try to dispel rumours about air defence. They are lying. The air defence system did not work. Several sources confirm the facts of the arrivals simultaneously," said the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
