
Renowned sports figure and philanthropist Oleksandr Svishchov has been awarded the National Treasure of the Nation 2024 Award for his significant contribution to the development and construction of Ukraine.
The National Treasure of the Nation Award is a socially significant cultural event aimed at recognizing and supporting Ukrainians who demonstrate courage, humanity and extraordinary strength of spirit, contribute to the formation of a positive image and global authority of Ukraine, make a significant contribution to the development of the state, and most importantly, are an example of a selfless struggle for the victory of our country.
The award was presented at the opening of the artistic and educational project “Prayer for Ukraine” by People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozyuk at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, which was supported by Oleksandr Svishchov.

Tetiana Zabavska, President of the National Treasure of the Nation 2024 Award and Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Amulet of Humanity”, said: “The assistance provided by Oleksandr Svishchov to artists is invaluable for the protection and revival of eternal Ukrainian values. Thanks to such patrons as Oleksandr Svishchov, a conscious public position is being created.”

People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozyuk said: “Oleksandr Svishchov, a modern Ukrainian philanthropist, continues the traditions of his predecessors by supporting art and culture in difficult times. His contribution to projects such as Prayer for Ukraine and Ukraine Through the Ages made these projects possible.
The projects have become a symbol of unity and support for the Ukrainian people in their struggle for independence.
They are the country’s business card and will be presented in many European countries in the near future.”
“The project by People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozyuk is a powerful reminder of the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians who, even in the most difficult times, choose to serve their country, support the defenders and create the future. This is a powerful message about the importance of art in times of trial,” said Oleksandr Svishchov at the opening of the project.
In addition to supporting art, Oleksandr Svishchov invests heavily in the restoration of the infrastructure that has been damaged in Ukraine and actively supports both the military and civilians.
He provides financial and material assistance to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other institutions that treat and rehabilitate people affected by the war.
In addition, he facilitates the purchase of necessary medicines and equipment for these institutions.
For his volunteer activities in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the humanitarian and financial assistance he has provided, Mr. Svishchov was awarded the badge of honor by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
