On the night of September 16, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region using strike drones. Air defence forces successfully destroyed all enemy targets.
Residential or critical infrastructure objects were not hit, but debris from the downed drones damaged houses and cars, resulting in a woman being injured. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko and the regional police.
The injured woman was hospitalized in a local medical facility where she is receiving necessary assistance.
As of 8:30 AM, damage was reported to 5 cars and 5 private houses, with windows and doors shattered and facades and roofs damaged.
In four districts, grass and forest litter fires occurred, all of which were successfully extinguished.
Operational groups continue to document the consequences of the night attack. Investigators will open criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for violations of the laws and customs of war.
