
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff today, September 16. One of the topics discussed was the improvement of warrior training.
This was reported with reference to the head of the Ukrainian state in Telegram.
According to the president, during the Staff meeting, he heard reports on the situation at the front and detailed reports from the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate. The Foreign Intelligence Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate reported on the occupiers’ intentions and the situation within their ranks.
"The intelligence officers noted a noticeable deterioration in discipline within the Russian units," Zelenskyy said.
The second issue discussed at the Staff meeting was the engineering protection of critical infrastructure facilities and the schedule for completing these works.
Additionally, as Zelenskyy noted, combat training centers were also discussed during the meeting. On this issue, the main inspector of the Ministry of Defence, Ihor Voronchenko, reported.
"I instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the work of the centers. The state is obliged to ensure quality training for those who defend it," he added.
The Staff meeting participants also discussed export restrictions imposed by countries producing components for drones.
"We know how to ensure that these restrictions do not become critical for us," assured the head of state.
