HACC arrested the deputy prosecutor of the Zaporizhzhya region Nataliya Maksymenko

The High Anti-Corruption Court has taken Deputy Prosecutor of the Zaporizhzhya Region Nataliya Maksymenko into custody with an alternative of 8 million UAH bail. NABU and SAPO suspect her of receiving 40 thousand dollars in illicit gain.

This decision was made on September 25 by the investigating judge of the HACC Lesya Fedorak, report interlocutors of "Slovo i dilo" and confirm the press services of the authorities.

"On September 25, 2024, the investigating judge of the HACC supported the SAPO prosecutor’s position and applied a preventive measure to the deputy head of the Zaporizhzhya regional prosecutor’s office, who was caught receiving 40 thousand USD in illicit gain. The court granted the petition of NABU detectives, agreed upon by the SAPO prosecutor, and applied a preventive measure to the suspect in the form of detention with an alternative of 8 million UAH bail," informs SAPO.
