NAEC "Energoatom" reports that with the active participation of company representatives, the director of audit and revision work, Oleksandr Skopych, was detained, and in the future, it will continue to assist investigators.

"One of the priorities of JSC "NAEC "Energoatom" is compliance with current legislation, and the company has a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. This applies not only to internal issues but also to the behavior of employees outside of their official duties.

Thanks to the coordinated work of law enforcement agencies and the active participation of "Energoatom" representatives, one of the company’s employees was detained while receiving improper benefits.

The detainee facilitated the resolution of issues in another company due to his connections and acted as an intermediary between the contractor and another organization.

Investigative actions are currently underway. "Energoatom" will continue to assist investigators in conducting the fastest and most objective investigation possible."
