Detention of top manager of "Energoatom": Skopych has already been selected as a preventive measure

The top manager of "Energoatom", who was detained for bribery, has already been released on bail in the amount of one million hryvnias.

This information was provided by the capital’s prosecutor’s office.

According to the investigation, the contractor approached Oleksandr Skopych with a request to help him receive payment from one of the mining and processing plants that are part of "Energoatom".

The official stated that he could resolve this issue with the plant’s management for 100 thousand hryvnias.

"If the money is not provided, he said he would ensure that the concluded contract would not be paid under any circumstances. As a result, the entrepreneur was forced to agree to these terms. Law enforcement officers detained the employee of JSC ’Energoatom’ at the moment of receiving the money," the prosecutor’s office reported.
