President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under pressure from Russia is the right decision to preserve the lives of soldiers, as they are «more important than any building».

These statements were made after the troops’ retreat from Vuhledar.
