France promises to deliver Mirage fighter jets to Ukraine next year
In France, it was announced that next year they will transfer Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine.
This was reported by Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu in an interview with Sud Ouest.
According to him, the delivery of the fighter jets to Ukraine is planned for the first quarter of 2025.
"They will be equipped with new equipment: for conducting air and ground combat as well as electronic warfare," the minister noted.
He added that currently, the training of Ukrainian pilots and mechanics is underway.
