Ukrainians are massively fleeing from Poland: looking for better working conditions

It is indicated that Ukrainians are seeking better working conditions in other European countries.

Poland is losing Ukrainian workers as they search for better employment conditions in other European countries. Workers from Asia and South America are filling the vacancies left by Ukrainians.

Polskie Radio reports that in recent years, the highest increase in employment has been among Colombians, Nepalese, and Argentinians.

It is indicated that workers from Asia and South America are filling vacancies in the fields of industrial production, agriculture, and construction, where Ukrainians were previously predominantly employed.

Since 2019, the number of workers from Asia and Latin America has increased fivefold. In 2023, more than 275 thousand work permits were issued in Poland. Job positions become vacant as the majority of Ukrainians look for better working conditions in other European countries, such as Germany and the Czech Republic.
