The Defence Forces have liberated and cleared the village of Kruhlyakivka in the Kharkiv region

The Defence Forces of Ukraine have liberated and cleared the village of Kruhlyakivka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Defence intelligence of Ukraine.

"The warriors of the ’Bratstvo’ unit, as part of the Special Unit of Timur of the Defence intelligence of Ukraine Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, with the support of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, liberated and cleared the settlement of Kruhlyakivka in the Kupyansk district from Russian occupants. 

The operation to regain control over the settlement important for the defence of Kupyansk lasted from October 7 to October 14, 2024."

According to the fighters, the Russians lost more than a platoon of infantry in Kruhlyakivka — they were destroyed in close combat. Additionally, some occupants were taken prisoner.

"As a result of the operation, the enemy was expelled from the settlement, and the occupiers’ movement routes were mined."
