French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has arrived in Kyiv

France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot arrived in Kyiv on Saturday, October 19th. This is his first trip to Ukraine in this position.

The French representative arrived in Ukraine for a two-day visit. According to media reports, he has already held a meeting with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.

It is also known that Barrot’s visit aims to "confirm France’s support for Ukraine, discuss Ukraine’s Victory Plan, the situation on the front lines, and the living conditions of Ukrainians."

Prior to the visit, speaking on French radio, the minister noted that he is traveling to Ukraine to "convey the voice of France and remind that France will not stand aside from any crisis."
