The defender of Mariupol with the call sign "Buyvol" expressed dissatisfaction that Ukrainians are forgetting about the atrocities of Russian troops in Irpin. He suggested replacing donations with mobilization to the front lines and described the conditions that can be encountered there.

A veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and former "Azov" fighter, who lost a leg during the defense of Mariupol, Anatoliy Leonenko with the call sign "Buyvol" spoke about donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mobilization in Ukraine. This became known from journalist Ramina Eshakzai’s show "Dachnyi Dvyzh".

Many veterans who returned from the front with injuries struggle to transition to civilian life.

"In Kyiv, we already live normally, the situation is calm, there are no Russians. You are fighting somewhere there in Donbas, and keep fighting, while we will live our lives here," said "Buyvol".

In his opinion, if the military retreats to the west, Ukrainians will "sing a different tune". Then the occupiers will lead to anarchy, killing and taking everything.

"People forget. How can you forget that in Irpin they raped small children, two- and three-year-olds? How can you calmly drive around Kyiv and not think about it?" the defender wonders.

Eshakzai noted that comments might suggest that wealthy people have left, and "war is for the poor".

"That’s how it is," confirmed the veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and former fighter of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces, Roman "Dobryak," who also lost a leg in battle.

"Buyvol" suggested that those who do not want to donate to the Armed Forces should mobilize and, after preparation, participate in battles.

"Let them live our lives, and let’s see if donations are needed or not. When he says: mom, I’m now near Pokrovsk, it’s just a horror here," he noted.

Veterans mentioned that a typical fighter would be fighting in shoes that fall apart, and tactical shoes would require 15,000 hryvnias. He would sleep in a wet sleeping bag. Bombs would be flying over the position every 15 minutes, and due to broken logistics, everyone would be living on dry rations.

"Buyvol" emphasized that, during this time, men in Kyiv sit in restaurants, not imagining the trials the military faces on the front lines. He mentioned that the main thing is support and expressed gratitude to everyone who helps financially.

"Being a soldier today is a serious step. You realize that you almost have a ticket in one direction. How to get out of the army? Either on crutches or die, and there’s no third option," added the defender.
