Air defence forces destroyed all drones with which Russia attacked Kyiv
On the night of October 21, the Ukrainian air defence intercepted about ten attack drones that Russia used for an attack on Kyiv. Debris was found in several districts of the city, and one person was injured.
An air alert was sounded in the capital, lasting more than five hours. The consequences of this attack were reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
According to him, the Russian drones moved towards the capital from different directions, but thanks to the efforts of the air defenders, all threats were neutralized.
As a result of the attack, debris was reported in the Dnipro, Holosiivskyi, and Solomyanskyi districts of the city.
In particular, in the Dniprovskyi district, an electrical cable was damaged, and in Holosiivskyi, many apartment buildings suffered damage to windows and wall decorations.
In the Solomianskyi district, debris fall caused a fire on the roof of a one-story residential building. The fire was extinguished. It is known that one person was injured there.
"Medics recorded facial burns on the man. He refused hospitalization," explained the head of the KCMA.
