The Russian command ordered the occupiers not to take Ukrainian soldiers prisoner in the Kursk region.
This was reported by Dina Wong, the spokesperson for the 1st Separate Tank Siverska Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a television marathon.
According to her, in the Kursk direction, where this brigade is carrying out combat missions, the Russians are resorting to active assault actions using armored vehicles.
The enemy has given its personnel the order not to take Ukrainian soldiers prisoners
— said the spokesperson.
According to the press officer, given that the operational situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility is quite difficult, it is important to note the work of the infantry. The soldiers are diligently fulfilling their duty and steadfastly holding their positions, she added.
We are aware that they are trying to amass their infantry. When assault actions begin, we immediately respond to the enemy’s personnel and equipment. Every one of our operations is a combination of actions by our tank crews, artillery, and UAV operators
— explained Wong.
