Today, Russian forces launched an attack on Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of the enemy shelling, police officers were injured.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the prosecutor’s office, today at 15:40 Russian troops dropped two aerial bombs on Kostyantynivka.

Preliminary data indicates that the occupiers used a "FAB-250" bomb with a UMPC for the attack on the population.

"Residential buildings were in the affected area. As a result of the shelling, a 38-year-old resident was killed. In addition, injuries were sustained by a man and two women aged 55, 67, and 73," the prosecutor’s office noted.

Moreover, in the city, the facades of apartment buildings and private houses, cars, administrative buildings, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged.

President Zelenskyy reported that police officers were injured as a result of the strike.

"A strike was inflicted on the Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, today. Four police officers were affected," he stated.
