Russian occupation forces have been scattering PFM-1 "Petals" mines across the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region over the past few weeks. As a result, local residents have repeatedly sustained injuries.

This was reported by the head of the city military administration, Serhiy Chaus.

"Chasiv Yar looks quite eerie. The fighting is currently very close. The enemy is using almost the entire available arsenal. They truly do not care where and at whom they strike," he said.

About 400 residents continue to remain in this settlement.

"We are currently updating the lists. Some people have independently started to leave using their own transport," he added.
