Oleh Kutsepal began his criminal career as an accomplice of Yanukovych.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained an FSB agent in the Sumy region who was spying on the Defence Forces and calling on the Russians to bomb the city. He turned out to be a 48-year-old former deputy of the Shostka City Council from the banned "Party of Regions," Oleh Kutsepal, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

According to the investigation, while carrying out the assignment of an employee of the Russian special service, the man drove around the area in his own car and recorded the locations and directions of movement of Ukrainian military personnel who protect the border area of Sumy.

Using the pseudonym "Afanasiy," the suspect transmitted the obtained data via one of the messengers to a staff member of the FSB Directorate in the Bryansk region (according to the SSU, the ex-deputy was remotely recruited by the FSB in July 2024).

In the agent’s "reports," in addition to providing coordinates, the traitor asked the Russians to strike the city as soon as possible, particularly the TRC buildings, according to the special service.

SSU officers documented the former deputy’s crimes and detained him at his residence in Shostka.

Currently, he has been given a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
