President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed the consequences of the Russian terrorist attacks that occurred over the past week. During this period, the aggressor’s army carried out more than 900 airstrikes on various regions of Ukraine, launched around 30 missiles, and nearly 500 Shahed kamikaze drones.
The president posted a video of the aftermath of the city shelling on Telegram. He also once again called on partners for important political decisions that could halt Russian aggression.
"Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with over 50 attack drones, and over the week, they used more than 900 bombs on various regions, launched about 30 missiles, and nearly 500 Shaheds. Most of these strikes were directed against civilian targets and critical infrastructure," the president noted.
Zelenskyy emphasized that all these strikes could have been avoided if Ukraine received sufficient support from the international community on key issues.
"In terms of long-range security. In truly effective sanctions that would not allow Russia to import critically important components for the production of drones and missiles, including microelectronics. And also in political decisions that can deprive Russia of the desire to fight. Ukraine deserves the same reliable security as all our other partners in the free world," the president added.
