The invaders attacked Kyiv with "Shaheds": debris from the downed UAVs fell in two districts

On Sunday evening, November 3, Russian forces again attacked Kyiv with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Air raid alerts were repeatedly announced in the capital and the region, and explosions were heard: debris from downed drones fell in two districts.

On the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, residents of the capital were urged to stay in shelters. Around 2:15, the KCMA reported that air defense systems were active in the capital.

"Air defence is active in Kyiv. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over!" said the head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko.

The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klychko, clarified that debris from downed drones fell in the Obolonskyi and Desnyanskyi districts. Tentatively, in open areas. "Emergency services are heading to the site," he noted.

Later, it became known that a fire occurred in the Desnyanskyi district in the territory of the park "Muromets." In Obolonskyi district, preliminarily, there was a fire on the embankment – green vegetation is burning.

In the morning, the head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko, emphasized that during this attack, the enemy used familiar tactics but again failed to achieve their goal – our Defence Forces made every effort to neutralize all UAVs.

"Debris fell. In the Obolonskyi and Desnyanskyi districts, they fell in open areas. Local fires were recorded – grass and undergrowth were burning. No casualties or destruction," he noted.
