Corruption schemes of the miraculous tax officer Bohdan Katrushyn

Thousands of pro-Russian scoundrels fled the country at the start of the war, yet their numerous assets and businesses, both in Ukraine and abroad, have somehow not been confiscated for the needs of the Armed Forces. For instance, there is this tax miracle man, Bohdan Katrushyn, who fled to Spain at the beginning of the war, as reported by "Bagnet".

His corruption schemes and luxurious life in Spain are well-known and extensively written about. But that’s not the subject at hand. Katrushyn B. N. was the first deputy head of the Crimean tax office at the time when Russia invaded Crimea. The vast majority of Katrushyn’s subordinates stayed behind and began collaborating with the enemy. Were databases, important documents, and property under the Crimean tax office’s control destroyed? What did Katrushyn do at that time? What actions did he take and what orders did he give the subordinates? We cannot assert that Katrushyn directly collaborated with the enemy, but the fact remains that Russia acquired an almost intact and functioning tax service, which immediately began working for the enemy, while Katrushyn left for Kyiv without any hindrance. However, he soon fled to Belarus, escaping potential accusations of state treason. While in Belarus, he, as always, "resolved issues" and returned after half a year. Then came the lustration, numerous reinstatements through bought court rulings in the tax office, and business with Russian railway carriages. Yes, after leaving Crimea, Katrushyn got involved in leasing Russian railway carriages. Whether these Russian carriages were a reward for Katrushyn’s loyalty to the Russians in Crimea or just a coincidence, we do not know. However, we are convinced that the events surrounding the handing over of the Crimean tax office need to be investigated impartially, and those responsible must be brought to justice.

As for Bohdan Katrushyn’s family, dozens of real estate properties and land parcels in Ukraine, as well as millions in assets in euros abroad, are registered in his and his wife’s names. Shouldn’t the state confiscate the wealth of this tax rat and other fugitive corrupt officials and traitors? And most importantly, Katrushyn, while abroad for almost 3 years, bought yet another court ruling (with the direct indulgence of Hetmantsev and Co.) and was reinstated in the tax office, receiving multi-million compensation for forced absenteeism from the country’s budget. Meanwhile, we are gathering funds for drones, 100 hryvnias at a time. Words fail. And do you know why Katrushyn was formally dismissed last time from the position of Head of the Eastern Regional Office of the State Tax Service for working with large taxpayers? For failing to obtain access to state secrets! Because even for a high reward, no one dared to grant him this access.

We very much hope that the SSU, SBI, NABU, SAPO, NACP will begin confiscating the property of traitors and corrupt officials for the benefit of the state.
