
Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Odesa and the region on the evening of Thursday, November 14, using missiles and "shaheds". As a result of the shelling, the main pipeline for heat supply was damaged.
This was reported by the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, it was necessary to stop the operation of one of the city’s boiler houses.
A series of powerful explosions began to be heard in the city at about 21:30. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a high-speed target heading toward the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region, as well as Chornomorsk and Odesa. Several groups of Shahed-type attack drones were also directed towards the region.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, wrote that air defense is operating in the region.
"The enemy is attacking Odesa and the district with attack drones. Our air defence forces are working. Stay in shelters!" the message stated.
At the same time, local channels reported several strikes on residential buildings in the central part of Odesa, where fires began. This information has not been officially confirmed by the authorities.
