The Ukrainian military regained control over the positions of Russian forces near Pokrovsk

The fighters of the unit used a distraction tactic, directing fire at one of the M1117 armored personnel carriers, thus reducing risks for the main group of assault troops.

The fighters of the 425th Separate Assault Battalion "Skala" continue to successfully carry out assault operations against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine. Recently, the battalion published a video of an operation in the Pokrovsk direction, where assault actions were carried out with the support of two American M1117 armored personnel carriers.

The warriors of "Skala" developed a tactic that allowed diverting the enemy’s attention to the first armored vehicle, drawing fire to themselves and reducing risks for the main group. Meanwhile, Ukrainian bomber drones and FPV drones promptly suppressed enemy positions, providing cover for the landing of the second assault group.

While Russian forces directed their drones at the first M1117, the second armored personnel carrier broke through to the enemy’s trench and deployed the assault group, which drove the enemy out of position and successfully cleared the area. Three Russian servicemen, who tried to retreat, were destroyed on site.
