In Brovary, a grenade exploded in an apartment of a multi-story building

On Saturday, November 23, in Brovary, Kyiv region, an explosion of a grenade occurred in an apartment of a multi-story residential building. According to preliminary information, a woman was injured.

The circumstances and causes of the incident will be determined by law enforcement officers. This was reported by the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, in his Telegram channel.

"Today at 14:29 a report was received about an explosion and smoke from an apartment in a multi-apartment building at the address: Brovary city, Serhiy Moskalenko street. Rescuers urgently arrived at the scene," the report said.

The press service of the Kyiv region police specified to OBOZ.UA that, according to preliminary information, a grenade exploded in the apartment. As a result, a 52-year-old woman was injured and was taken to the hospital with injuries to both hands.

"Police officers of the Brovary police department, Kyiv region explosive technicians, rescuers, and medics are working at the scene. Investigative actions are currently underway, after which the events will be given a legal qualification," the police added.
