The Ukrainian fighter with the call sign «Muchnyi» believes there is a risk of Pokrovsk being isolated from the western side.

He notes the advance of Russian forces south of Pokrovsk along the railway line, which «creates the threat of encirclement from the west».

«South of the settlement of Mizhlisne, the enemy began moving towards Ukrainka. They have about one kilometer left to reach the eastern outskirts. Furthermore, the movement towards the Pokrovsk-Kurakhove highway continues, with three kilometers remaining. In the direction of Zhovte, the enemy has also advanced westward and reached the outskirts of Novopustynka. Thus, the breakthrough along the railway towards Pokrovsk is expanding, creating a threat of encirclement from the western side», the military notes.
