The Prime Minister of Estonia has arrived in Kyiv

The Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, announced his arrival on the morning of Monday, December 9, in Kyiv, where he will meet, among others, with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"I arrived in Kyiv this morning to meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Denys Shmyhal, and Ruslan Stefanchuk. Supporting Ukraine to victory will remain a priority for Estonia, we will not compromise," - he wrote on social media X.

The Estonian Prime Minister also emphasized that Ukraine’s victory is a victory for Europe, the USA, and the entire democratic world.

As noted by Estonian National Broadcasting (ERR), in Kyiv, Michal will also meet with Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Defence Rustem Umyerov, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha, and will lay a wreath at the Wall of Memory of those who died for Ukraine.

Michal is accompanied by a delegation of Estonian cybersecurity companies, which includes representatives from about ten different enterprises.

The Prime Minister of Estonia will open the Estonian-Ukrainian Business Forum in Kyiv.

In July 2024, the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, appointed a new government of the country. It is headed by Kristen Michal.
