The Defence Forces eliminated 81 Russian missiles and 80 enemy drones

This is reported in Telegram by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 14:00 on Thursday, December 12, to 10:00 on Friday, December 13, the Russians carried out a combined air attack on Ukraine using missiles of various types and strike drones.

In total, during this period, the radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected 287 aerial assault means - 94 missiles and 193 UAVs, namely:

• 4 X-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K fighter jets, launch area – Tambov region;
• 2 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles, launch area – Bryansk region, temporarily occupied Crimea;
• one KN-23 ballistic missile, launch area – Bryansk region;
• 55 X-101, X-55SM cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area — Volgograd region;
• 24 "Kalibr" cruise missiles, launch area - Black Sea waters;
• 7 "Iskander-K" cruise missiles, launch area – Voronezh, Rostov regions;
• one X-59/X-69 guided aviation missile, launch area - airspace over the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region;
• 193 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo.

The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defence Forces of Ukraine. Including effective operations by F-16 aircraft.

As of 11:30, the following were confirmed shot down:

• 80 X-101/X-55SM/"Kalibr"/"Iskander-K" cruise missiles;
• one "Iskander-M" ballistic missile;
• 80 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones.

In addition, 105 enemy drones, due to active resistance from the Defence Forces, did not reach their targets (locationally lost), five returned to Russia, and one more returned to Belarus.
