Because there was no command to retreat to more advantageous positions in time when the flanks started to collapse. It is a strange decision to remain in positions when the enemy surrounds you from three sides. I would call it criminal," writes the journalist.

According to her, later the Russian army approached from the fourth side, and several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were surrounded. But the order to retreat is still not given.
