The General Staff denied the information about the capture of Kurakhove by the Russians

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dismissed claims that Russian troops have fully captured the high-rise building area in Kurakhove.

According to the military, the occupiers are trying to control the road junction and the southern part of the city’s apartment buildings.

The Ukrainian command confirmed that in the face of a difficult situation, they continue to make all necessary decisions to protect the territory. It was previously reported that Ukrainian troops had withdrawn from the urban area to the industrial zone of the Kurakhivska TPP.
