"Ukrposhta" released a new postage stamp dedicated to the Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk and his victory in the rematch against Briton Tyson Fury.
This was announced on Sunday, December 22, by the general director of "Ukrposhta" Ihor Smiliansky in Telegram.
«Congratulations to Oleksandr Usyk on his victory! The best! And to the "Ukrposhta" team for another stamp that predicted victory. We will not change the price of the "USYK. The World Loves the Strong" stamp, but I am sure that from today it will be more valuable to every Ukrainian as a memory of this victory!» — Smiliansky wrote.
As reported by the press service of "Ukrposhta", the release of the "USYK. The World Loves the Strong" stamp will become «a continuation of the mission» of the athlete, since part of the proceeds from the sale will be directed by "Ukrposhta" to charitable projects of the Usyk’s fund.
An artist from Dnipro, Serhiy Tyekhov, depicted Usyk while unfolding the Ukrainian flag. The print run of the stamps is 420 thousand.
