The units of the Third Separate Assault Brigade have not lost a single meter of land in their area of responsibility on the front in the Kharkiv region over the past week. Although the Russian infantry continues to advance there despite the ground turning into a swamp.
The situation remains challenging but controlled. The commander of the "Terra" unit within the 3rd Assault Brigade, Mykola Volokhov, with the call sign "Abdula," reported this during a broadcast of the telethon.
He noted that in the areas of the front line where the warriors of the Third Assault Brigade are located, temperatures have remained above zero in recent days. As a result, the previously fallen snow and rain turned the roads and fields into continuous mud. The weather conditions create problems for both the enemy and the defenders.
Currently, the occupiers cannot advance with tracked and wheeled vehicles. However, even without the support of armored vehicles, the infantry of the Russian army still tries to advance.
"We successfully destroy them, but I am shocked by the fact that they continue. Imagine advancing through a field where several kilograms of black soil stick to your boots with every step. And here they go, with infantry, towards our positions… The pressure does not decrease, but they will eventually run out," noted "Abdula."
According to him, the Russian occupiers continued such assaults both on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day.
"We successfully destroy them. All positions are held by the units, and this will continue to be the case," emphasized the military serviceman.
