BES discovered dozens of tons of illegal alcohol at a bioethanol plant
Economic Security of Ukraine discovered an enterprise in the Kyiv region that was illegally producing and selling ethyl alcohol on an industrial scale.
This was announced by the BES press service.
It is reported that the company specializes in the production of organic solvents.
The finished products were sold under the guise of solvents to other companies that used them to create substandard fuel.
During these operations, the excise tax was not paid to the budget.
BES detectives conducted searches at the factory and seized about 120 tons of finished excisable products, as well as financial and business documents.
The approximate value of the seized goods is 4 million UAH.
