During the day, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the border areas of Sumy region 65 times

During December 28, Russian occupiers carried out 65 attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. A total of 239 explosions were recorded in eight communities.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

The following areas came under enemy fire:

• Khotyn community: the enemy attacked with grenade launchers (14 explosions), artillery (18 explosions), mortars (27 explosions), FPV drones (8 explosions).
• Krasnopillia community: VOHG was dropped from UAVs (9 explosions), mortar shelling (34 explosions), FPV drone attacks (3 explosions).
• Velyka Pysarivka community: attacked by FPV drones (8 explosions), artillery shelling (2 explosions), VOHG dropped from UAVs (6 explosions).
• Shalyhyne community: FPV drone attacks recorded (4 explosions), mortar shelling (7 explosions).
• Seredyno-Buda community: FPV drone attacks occurred (3 explosions), mortar shelling (7 explosions), grenade launcher shelling (30 explosions), VOHG dropped from UAVs (1 explosion). As a result of the shelling, a car was damaged.
• Esman community: FPV drone attacks (2 explosions), artillery shelling (31 explosions).
• Putyvl community: FPV drone attacks took place (2 explosions).
• Myropillia community: FPV drone attacks recorded (2 explosions), mortar shelling (23 explosions).
