Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the defenders of Ukraine on the Kursk direction. He commended the soldiers for their bravery and contribution to the fight against aggression.
This was stated with reference to the statement of the commander-in-chief.
"During my visit to the Kursk direction, I recognized our brave warriors. The heroism of the Ukrainian soldiers forced the enemy to maintain significant forces on their own territory and to transfer reserves from other areas," Syrskyi noted.

He noted that thanks to the resilience and bravery of the Ukrainian soldiers, enemy losses in the Kursk direction amount to over 38,000 personnel and more than a thousand pieces of equipment.
"On December 30, another 189 Ukrainians were returned from captivity. This is also your (referring to the military on the Kursk direction, - ed.) merit, as during operations in this direction, our exchange fund was replenished with more than 700 invaders," he added.
