Hetmantsev’s assistant was dismissed from the position of Acting Deputy Head of the Tax Service

The Cabinet of Ministers annulled its order No. 353 from May 7, 2022, which temporarily appointed Yevhen Sokur to perform the duties of Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

This decision was made by the government at a meeting on Friday, January 3, reports the Cabinet press service.

Before being appointed as acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service, Yevhen Sokur served as an assistant to the Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation, and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev ("Servant of the People").

Hetmantsev himself noted that Sokur started working in the leadership of the Tax Service in May 2022, as there were no other candidates at the time.

Hetmantsev refuted the information that Sokur is responsible for the risk monitoring system of tax invoices (RMSTI). However, the MP did not specify his exact area of responsibilities. Sokur’s biography was absent on the STS website, and nothing is known about his experience in tax authorities.
