A woman who was injured as a result of a UAV attack in the Kyiv region has died in the hospital

A woman who received a severe injury as a result of a Russian drone attack on the Kyiv region during the night of January 2nd to 3rd has died in the hospital. Two more victims remain under medical supervision.

This was reported by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. Residents of the region have been urged not to ignore danger alerts.

"Civilians continue to die from Russian terrorist attacks. Unfortunately, a young woman who was injured as a result of a downed enemy target during yesterday’s massive drone attack on Kyiv region has died. The woman, born in 2002, sustained an abdominal injury. Doctors fought for her life for almost a day. But the injury was too severe. My condolences to the family and friends of the deceased," – Kalashnyk wrote.

The official added that another victim, a man born in 1953, who was injured in the back yesterday evening, is in intensive care. A young man who received a knee injury is also under medical supervision. His life is not in danger.

"During the night, the enemy continued to shell Kyiv region with UAVs. Air defence forces were active in the region. There are downed targets. Falling debris was recorded in open areas outside inhabited settlements," – Kalashnyk added.
