On January 3, the Russian army attacked the Sumy region using drones. The Russians employed "Shaheds" with shrapnel.
This was reported with reference to the acting head of the Sumy community, Artem Kobzar, in Telegram.
He noted that the occupiers attacked the settlement of Pishchane. The "Shahed" that hit was equipped with shrapnel.
As a result of the Russian drone attack in Pishchane, five houses were damaged. A headquarters is currently working on eliminating the consequences of the attack.
It is worth noting that shrapnel is an artillery shell with deadly elements. Essentially, it’s a shell "filled" with balls. When it explodes, the smaller elements scatter, affecting a larger area.
