The Armed Forces of Ukraine have started using unmanned boats as "aircraft carriers" for transporting drones

The Ukrainian military forces have started using unmanned vessels. They serve as "aircraft carriers" for drone delivery. This event is historic.

This was written by Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Petro Shuklinov on his Facebook page. He noted that with the help of these vessels, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed two Russian "Pantsirs" and an "Osa" deep in enemy territory near Skadovsk on January 5, 2025. However, there is currently no official confirmation of this information.

According to the soldier, judging by open sources, the enemy’s equipment was destroyed by drones launched from unmanned marine vessels.

"Thus, a new model of an aircraft carrier vessel has been added to the functions of kamikaze boats and air defence boats. Congratulations to everyone involved in the development, implementation, and the special operation near Skadovsk. Deep bow. Sincere admiration. Boundless respect," Shuklinov wrote in his message.

He also emphasized that, in his opinion, this significantly changes the prospects for using drones against Russians in the occupied territories. And overall changes the logic of warfare at sea and on land.
