Pokrovsk under threat: mine stopped, shelling intensified, and the enemy is getting closer

The situation in Pokrovsk is becoming increasingly tense.

As reported by the head of Pokrovsk CMA, Serhiy Dobryak, the mine has ceased its operations, and only a few working stores and a branch of «Ukrposhta» remain in the city. Meanwhile, shelling by Russian troops has intensified, posing a significant threat to the local residents.

According to the DeepState map, the Russian troops are now just a few kilometers from the city, which complicates evacuation and humanitarian aid significantly. The situation on the front line around Pokrovsk is rapidly deteriorating, leaving civilians under constant threat.

The local authorities urge the residents who are still in the city to take advantage of the evacuation opportunity, as the risk of complete isolation of the city increases. Amidst the fighting, access to food, medicine, and other necessary resources is becoming increasingly limited.
