
In a lyceum in Rivne, a mass poisoning occurred: 72 students were affected, and one of them was hospitalized.
This information was provided by the communication department of the Rivne Regional Police on Facebook .
"On January 10th, around 12 o’clock, several elementary school students experienced digestive disorders. This incident was reported by the school safety inspector to the nurse, who conducted an examination and provided necessary assistance. The students returned home with their parents.
As of January 13th, it is known that 72 lyceum students have shown similar symptoms. One of the students has been hospitalized," the message stated.
The police added that the Rivne education department was informed about this incident. All relevant services have been engaged, including the Rivne Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
As a result of the investigation, the Rivne District Police Department opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of sanitary rules and norms related to the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisoning).
