Umyerov: Italy boosts support, modern weaponry is already being sent to Ukraine
Italy is enhancing military support for Ukraine. The next weaponry package, which will help deliver powerful strikes, is already on its way.
This is reported with reference to Facebook of the Minister of Defence Rustem Umyerov.
According to him, an agreement to strengthen defence cooperation was reached at a meeting with the Italian Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto.
"The main message is that another package of military aid from Italy is already on its way to Ukraine. It is modern weaponry that will help our soldiers deliver powerful strikes against the enemy," noted Umyerov.
In addition, Ukraine and Italy have planned the opening of joint ventures and other initiatives in the defence sector. For his part, Crosetto emphasized the importance of expanding the ’Ramstein’ format.
